Cucumbers help in blood circulation. It is known for its skin lightening and astringent properties.
It is one of the easiest methods of getting rid of dark circles. All you have to do is, cut up the cucumber into thick slices and place them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
Take them out and place one slice on each eye. Keep for 10/15 minutes. Wash the area with water.
Repeat this procedure twice a day for best results.

2. Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera Gel is one of the best remedies for all skin and hair problems. It works wonderfully leaving its users very happy with the results.
Apply this gel under your eyes. Massage slowly for 5 minutes.
Leave it on for 10/15 minutes before washing.
For immediate results, carry out this procedure twice a day. Once during the day and once before bed.

3. Rose Water
Rose Water might cause an allergic reaction to very sensitive skin. Before trying this method make sure that this is not the case with you.
If rose water does agree with your skin, then pour some out into a bowl.
Dip a cotton ball into it and apply to your dark circles. Let it stay for 10 minutes. Wash off with clear water.
Follow this method for a few weeks, twice a day.

I bet you never thought that you’d be using a potato for this reason. Potatoes contain natural bleaching agents that help in the lightening of dark circles.
Grate a raw potato and extract the juice from it. Dab cotton in this juice and apply it to the affected area.
Let it stay on for 10 minutes. Once 10 minutes are over, wash with cold water.
Repeat this method as needed.
Tomatoes contain natural bleaching properties that will help in lightening the skin. This helps in getting rid of dark circles.
Mix one tsp of tomato juice with one tsp of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your dark circles.
Leave it on for 10 minutes. Wash off gently.
Continue this remedy twice daily for 2-3 weeks.
We see many skin lightening products in the market that contain lemon. This is because the vitamin C in the lemon works as an antioxidant to rejuvenate the skin.
Use a piece of cotton to apply lemon juice to your dark circles. Be careful to avoid getting too close to the eyes as it may burn terribly.
Keep it on for 10 minutes and wash off with clean water. Continue to do this twice a day.
If you have dry skin it is better to dilute the lemon juice with water before using. Concentrated lemon juice might burn dry skin.
7. Mint leaves
Just like cucumbers, mint leaves are also known for their cooling effect. It helps in soothing the skin and in turn eliminating dark circles.
Take a few mint leaves and crush them. Apply them to your dark circles and leave on for a while.
Rinse properly with cold water. Follow this remedy several times a week to eliminate dark circles.
8. Cold Compress
Sometimes dilated blood vessels can darken the skin under your eyes causing dark circles. Using a cold compress helps the blood vessels to shrink. This helps in the reduction of dark circles.
Rinse a clean cloth with cold water. Wrap this cloth around one or two ice cubes. Rub around your eyes to the skin that has become dark.
Another alternative would be to take a cotton cloth and rinse with cold water. Apply this cloth to your eyes every day. Continue this procedure for 5/10 minutes every day for effective results.
9. Almond oil
Take a few drops of almond oil into a bowl. Dip your fingertips into this bowl. With your fingertips gently massage the area of your dark circles.
Do this before bed. In the morning wash properly with cold water.
Continue to do this every night until you see that the dark circles have completely gone.
10. Sleep well
Last but not the least, a good night sleep is important to your health as well as your body. Getting a full 8 hours of sleep will help you reduce dark circles considerably.
Lack of sleep can make you look paler which is why your dark circles tend to look darker in color.
